A Baltimore native, Jonathan Cresci received his Bachelor of Trumpet Performance and Bachelor of Record Arts and Sciences from the Peabody Conservatory of Music in 2001 studying with Wayne Cameron. While in Baltimore, he performed with the Maryland Chamber Orchestra, Columbia Orchestra and the Mt. Vernon Brass Consort. Jonathan has also played with the Newton Massachusetts Chamber Orchestra, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, in the pit at the Orpheum in Memphis Tennessee and the York Symphony Orchestra. Under the direction of David Spencer, he completed his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Trumpet at the University of Memphis in 2009.
Jonathan is an active instructor, performer and classical recording engineer/producer in the York/Baltimore area. He owns and operates the recording company Fundamental Sounds. Which specializes in the onsite production and recording of acoustic classical and jazz music.
