Service Desk (formerly known as Helpdesk)
Service Desk provides a single point of contact for faculty and staff when seeking assistance with technology problems. You can request assistance by calling the ServiceDesk at x3333 or visiting http://servicedesk.frederick.edu/.
From off-campus please visit http://servicedesk.frederick.edu and create a ticket or call the Service Desk line by dialing 301-846-2509.
When creating a ticket please details . Example detail to provide:
- description of problem or request
- exact error message
- how many users are affected
- a deadline if known
- name, phone number, building and room number
- operating system version if known
If you are calling from a classroom please let us know if you need immediate assistance.
The technician assigned to work on your problem will contact you to further discuss your request.
Our Service Desk hours are:
Monday-Thursday 7:45 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday 7:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
except when the college is closed due to holidays or inclement weather.
