07/12/2016
Frederick Community College Board of Trustees Member Timothy Wesolek will resign his position effective July 31, 2016 due to a move out of state.

One of the greatest highlights of my life, besides getting married and having three children, is being able to have served my community as a trustee at FCC,” Timothy Wesolek said. “While I’m excited about my new position that will take me out of state, I’m sad to leave this wonderful position at FCC. I love FCC and the people of FCC and am thankful for having the opportunity to serve with so many great and passionate people during my two terms as a Trustee.”

Wesolek served his first term on the Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2009 and began his second term on July 1, 2015. He served as Board Chair from 2007 to 2009.

“We appreciate the many contributions Tim made during his time on the Board of Trustees,” said Board Chair Myrna Whitworth. “We will miss his thoughtful insights but we wish him well in his next endeavor.”

“Our Trustees are vital to the well-being and continued success of our College,” said FCC President Elizabeth Burmaster. “We are grateful to Tim for his dedicated service on the Board. We will miss him.”
