Free Workshop for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
01/23/2017
Frederick Community College is teaming up with the Entrepreneur Council of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce to offer a free four-hour workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs on Jan. 25.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Chamber and the Kauffman Foundation to offer this free and unique workshop,” Kathi Groover, Program Manager for Business and Technology, said. “The workshop is perfect for anyone who has dreamed of starting their own business, but hasn’t had the courage yet to make that leap.”

The Intentional Entrepreneur Workshop, led by CycleFit Owner Brett Kraimer, will guide participants through a process of consideration, exploration, and planning. Workshop facilitators and materials will provide the tools aspiring entrepreneurs need to examine both the practical and emotional aspects of owning a business.

During the interactive workshop, participants will assess their entrepreneurial interest, identify personal and professional goals, and explore the action steps necessary to become a business owner.

The workshop will run from 8 a.m. to noon at the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, located at 8420-B Gas House Pike in Frederick. Click here to register.
