Incoming Transfer Students

Frederick Community College
Students who are enrolled at institutions other than FCC often opt to return home and take classes at FCC. This can occur during JanTerm, summer, or any given semester. Transfer students should complete the application form, then submit an official transcript of credits from other institution(s) they attended. Transfer of credits will be considered on the basis of applicability to the student’s chosen program of study. Transfer students should arrange an appointment with the College’s Counseling and Advising office to review the courses taken at previous institutions and to plan for successful completion of their program of study. FCC adheres to the general education and transfer policies of the Maryland Higher Education Commission (see FCC Catalog, admission policies and MHEC Transfer Policies sections). Students who plan to graduate from FCC must complete at least 15 credits in residence.Click on the link to your right to view the Incoming Transfer Guide which includes information on how to transfer your credits to FCC.
