The Allied Health Academy provides training, personalized success coaching, and support from a dedicated Student Success Programs staff member and consideration for financial assistance to eligible students who want to become certified nursing assistants (CNA), geriatric nursing assistants (GNA), phlebotomy technicians, sterile processing technicians, or dental assistants.

Program Eligibility
Eligible participants include Frederick County residents who want to become certified nursing assistants (CNA), geriatric nursing assistants (GNA), phlebotomy technicians, sterile processing technicians, or dental assistants and meet one of the following criteria:
- Single parents
- Unemployed
- Underemployed
- Individuals facing other barriers
Financial Assistance
Students will receive consideration for the Allied Health scholarship distributed through the FCC Foundation, which can be used toward the cost of attendance at FCC, including tuition and book assistance.
