Children's Center "Nurturing a Love of Learning"
The Carl and Norma Miller Children's Center at Frederick Community College provides an enhanced child-centered learning program where children feel nurtured, secure and relaxed. Parents can be confident and trusting of the care and education their children receive as they develop strong social and emotional skills that ensure they will enter school ready to learn.
The Children's Center is staffed with professional early childhood educators who partner with families to provide optimal care and education for each child. Our preschool programs and curriculum are accredited through the Maryland State Department of Education and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. We serve children ages 6 weeks to school age (during the summer months). Child care grants to offset tuition costs, are available to qualified students through the Financial Aid Office (301-846-2620).
