About the TOEFL


At FCC, international students are required to have a strong command of the English language. The English proficiency test that FCC accepts is the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). FCC requires a minimum acceptable score of:

• 500 on the paper-based test, or
• 173 on the computer-based test, or
• 61 on the internet-based test.

Please request that a copy of your score be sent to:

On the request form put school code 5230 and a copy of your report will be sent directly to us. It will take up to a month to receive your scores.

The test is given on a variety of dates during the year and in a variety of locations around the world.  Information such as where to take the test, cost, methods of payment, how to register, what to take with you and information on how to prepare for the test are available at:
