Testing Center Mission
 

I.    To uphold testing integrity by adhering to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.


II.    To promote fair and equitable testing by providing accommodations for students with disabilities, ensuring testing materials are accessible and promoting an inclusive environment dedicated to student success.

III.    To support student success by serving as a resource for students seeking academic support and guidance such as a space for make-up testing, study plans, connecting students to other resources on campus, and generating revenue that directly supports our campus’ robust student services.

Our testing services are available for self-registration under the “On Campus Test Appointments” tab below. Current FCC Students can make an appointment using their myFCC login. Non-FCC students, former FCC students, incoming FCC students who do not yet have a myFCC login and members of the community may self-register for an appointment using the “Non-FCC Students” button.

 

 

Testing Center: Code of Conduct

 

All test candidates and visitors are expected to follow the FCC Code of Student Conduct, which promotes responsible and respectful behavior consistent with the College’s mission and values.

Additionally, all test candidates and visitors are expected to acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. I understand that a valid, approved photo ID is required for testing, and agree to bring one to my appointment. I understand that if I do not present a valid, approved photo ID I will be turned away and will not be able to test.
  2. I pledge, on my honor, that I have not given or received any unauthorized assistance on this examination.  By selecting "I agree" below, I acknowledge that I will perform to the best of my ability without cheating, plagiarizing, or receiving outside assistance.
  3. Frederick Community College prohibits discrimination against any person on the basis of age, ancestry, citizenship status, color, creed, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, mental or physical disability, national origin, race, religious affiliation, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status in its activities, admissions, educational programs, and employment.
  4. Frederick Community College makes every effort to accommodate individuals with disabilities for College-sponsored events and programs. If you have accommodation needs or questions, please call 301-846-2408. To request a sign language interpreter or if you have questions related to interpreting services, please email [email protected] or call 301-846-2408. Sign language interpreters will not be automatically provided for College-sponsored events without a request for services. To guarantee accommodations, requests must be made at least five workdays in advance of a scheduled event. If your request pertains to accessible transportation for a College-sponsored trip, please submit your request at least 21 calendar days in advance. Requests made less than 21 calendar days in advance may not be able to be guaranteed.
