Aaron Lovely

Aaron Lovely has performed in orchestras in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, New Mexico and Canada, and with several chamber ensembles including the Monumental Brass of Washington D.C. and the Lone Star Brass of West Texas, including performances around the globe and two CD recordings.
In 1996 he worked as a band director for Greenwood, Texas, for 3 years. While there, his bands won several awards and were nominated twice for honor band in the state of Texas. In 2000 he became the interim conductor and artistic director of the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale. Presently he serves as tubist with the United States Army Ceremonial Band and recently, began leading the band as a Drum Major.
In addition to FCC he is on the faculty of Columbia Union College and the McLean School of Music. He lives in College Park, MD with his wife Megan and sons Graham and Keaton.
