Further studies in Graz, Austria, at the American Institute of Musical Studies, and Hochshule fuer Musik, Vienna, Austria. Performed with the Vienna State Opera Company, the Vienna Chamber Opera, The Austrian Radio Chorus, at La Scala Opera House in Milan, Italy, and at the Salzburg Festival, Salzburg, Austria. Toured to Japan, London, Athens, Greece, and Budapest with Leonard Bernstein and Claudio Abbado.

Faculty member at FCC since 1990. Also taught at Rice University in Houston, Texas, Mesa Community College, Mesa, Arizona, and Northern Virginia Community College. Specialist in modern art song and premiered works for local composers such as Lawrence Moss, Thomas DeLio, Robert Gibson, Janet Peachey, and Jessica Krash. Active recitalist, opera, and oratorio soloist for churches and community organizations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
