FCC Accepting Applications for Parents Lead
06/10/2019
Frederick Community College is accepting applications for a new cohort of the Parents Lead program, designed specifically to help parents attend FCC and earn a degree.

Created for financially-eligible parents, the program provides specialized curriculum, advising services, and funding to offset the costs of child-rearing.

The cohort-based program includes a combination of online and on-campus evening or day-time classes and can be completed in as few as five semesters. Additional financial aid is also available to assist eligible students at FCC with tuition and fees.

The program is designed primarily for students seeking an A.A. degree in general studies while also assisting those who wish to transfer into alternate degree and certificate programs.

Students in the next cohort will begin classes in fall 2019.

Space in the Parents Lead program is limited. Interested parents should complete this online application by July 15 for best consideration.

Parents Lead is supported by the FCC Foundation.
