FCC Hosting Free Job and Networking Fair Aug. 18

The Frederick Community College Alumni Association and Career Services Office will host a Job and Networking Fair on August 18th at the Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC). The fair is open to the public. FCC alumni and current students are especially encouraged to attend.

The fair will provide job seekers the opportunity to meet with employers from at least 50 companies from various local, regional, and national industries including information technology, business, health care, public safety, construction, building trades, hospitality and tourism, bioprocessing technology, and more. It will also include career development seminars on new ways to search for jobs online, how to use LinkedIn to successfully network, and best practices for marketing yourself to employers.

Many employers will be seeking people to hire for full-time, part-time, and internship positions.

The fair is free to attend and will take place from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes. Professional attire is recommended.
