Frederick Community College ranked second in a recent list of best community colleges in Maryland to earn an associate degree.
 
The rankings were put out by University Headquarters, an independent educational organization that compiles information to help students make informed decisions when considering higher education institutions.
 
The organization looked at graduation rate, net price to attend, and graduate salary when determining ranking.
