We are fortunate to have the opportunity at FCC to serve a special group of students who have sacrificed so much for our country and all of us: our student veterans.

Our student veterans know what it means to step up when our nation needs them. Our military members have continued to answer the call during this global pandemic. We salute their bravery and selflessness. We thank all our military members and their families for the sacrifices they have made to keep us all safe.

Our student veterans are role models in many ways. They are mature, mission-driven, dedicated to their goals, and above all, experienced leaders. They have served our country, and it is now our honor to serve them as they work toward their academic and career goals at FCC.

We thank the FCC Veteran and Military Services team for all they do to support our student veterans. Rachel Nachlas, Director; Dr. Amy Coldren, Academic Advisor; and Tricia Morris, School Certifying Official; work hard every day to ensure our student veterans have one central place they can come for any assistance and guidance they need. We also thank our faculty and staff who support student veterans in other ways and understand their unique strengths and the unique challenges they may face.
