This is a Continuing Education & Workforce Development (CEWD) program. Most CEWD programs do not require an application, and students may register online. Explore all available options and register today at frederick.edu/QuickEnroll. Select courses may require the completion of a placement test or a pre-requisite course prior to registering. While continuing education and workforce development courses do not provide academic credits, participants experience affordable, flexible and rewarding programs, with select courses offering industry recognized training for licensure and career certification at the state and national level.

Art & Writing
Create original works of art in a variety of painting, drawing and writing workshops led by well-known professional experienced artists and writers.
 
Food & Cooking
Join our expert chefs to make amazing appetizers, cook up awesome meals, create elegant desserts, enjoy a variety of drinks and more.
 
Great Outdoors
Enjoy the great outdoors and learn to play golf, tennis or volleyball during convenient and affordable lessons on our main campus.
 
Health & Fitness
Get moving during fun and challenging workouts and explore new exercise and fitness trends during a variety of classes including Kickboxing, Pilates, Zumba and more.
 
Home & Hobby
Acquire skills and knowledge to complete a variety of projects in and around your home. Experienced instructors deliver information-packed presentations and hands-on learning opportunities.
 
Learn a Language
Explore a new culture by learning a new language at FCC. Get your feet wet with our beginner offerings, or hone your skills with intermediate and advanced sessions.
 
Motorcycle Safety
On-campus Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) approved Motorcycle Safety courses led by MVA and Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructors, training meets MVA requirements for a Class "M" license.
 
Music Lessons & Ensembles
Monthly voice and instrument lessons are led by expert musicians are available in 30, 45 and 60-minute sessions. Ensembles form at the start of traditional spring and fall semesters.
 
Photography
Experience an array of photography classes designed for every level of photographer, from beginner to intermediate and advanced. Expert-led sessions take place on campus and around town.
 
Test Preparation
Personalized attention and guidance from experienced instructors includes reviewing critical exam elements, test questions, effective test-taking techniques and more.
 
The Writer's Institute
Especially designed programs deliver unique opportunities to express yourself through writing while collaborating with others sharing similar interests.
 
Thrive
Designed for adults with intellectual disabilities to promote social, physical, and emotional well-being while helping participants function more independently at home, at work and in the community.
