Dining Services
Vending Machines - There are stocked vending machines that offer snacks and hot and cold beverages on both the FCC main campus and the Monroe Center. · Hot beverages are available in Linganore Hall. · Cold beverages and snacks are available in Linganore Hall, Jefferson Hall, Gambrill Hall, and the Monroe Center.
Because of COVID-19, physical access to Dining Services are temporarily unavailable. The FCC main campus will temporarily allow limited physical access to buildings, classrooms, labs, and College offices. Specific protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of students, employees, and community members.
FCC fall and spring classes will be delivered primarily online to maintain public safety. Face to face instruction and student interactions will only be conducted when it is necessary, required, and feasible to do so in a safe environment. Classes will be offered in
online, structured remote, and hybrid learning formats. Comprehensive student resources remain available remotely to deliver College services to students.

Cougar Grille Hours
Fall & Spring Semesters

The Cougar Grille features a spacious, well-lit dining room equipped with booths, dining tables, high top tables and comfortable lounge seating.
The Cougar Grille is open to all for breakfast and lunch and offers fresh, made-to-order breakfast and deli sandwiches, pizza, a full-service grill, Sushi chef, Indian cuisine, soup and salad bar, and various hot features.
For folks on the move, we have hot and cold beverages, Grab and Go salads, wraps, sushi, sandwiches, coffee, espresso, smoothies, fruit cups, and baked goods.
Smooth Joe's Hours

Smooth Joe’s features all your favorite hot specialty drinks, coffee and cold drinks. It offers many “Grab n’ Go” options for the convenience of students “on-the-go.” Offering a variety of sandwiches, salads, bistro boxes, fruit cups, parfaits, snacks, desserts, sushi, and baked goods.
FCC Meal Cards
FCC Meal Cards are available for purchase at the Cougar Grille, Smooth Joe's, online, and the Bookstore. Your FCC Meal Cards may be used for purchases at both the Cougar Grille and Smooth Joe’s. *FCC Meal Cards may be purchased with Financial Aid at the Bookstore only.
The FCC Meal card is a declining balance program, which operates similarly to a bank debit card purchase. Each time the FCC Meal Card is used to make a purchase, the amount of that purchase is deducted automatically from the balance of the account. Any balance in an account at the end of the first semester will be carried over to the second semester automatically. Any balance must be used by June 30th of each year. There are no refunds. For the 2018-2019 academic school year, balances expire at midnight on June 30, 2019.
Catering
Catering is a division of the Frederick Community College Dining Services Department. It is our mission to provide premier dining services to the college community and its guests through outstanding quality and choice of food with superb customer service.
Effective July 1, 2018, Dining Services will only provide limited catering services between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. Catering will be limited to pick-up service only and will only include hot and cold beverages, baked goods, bagels, cookies, brownies, cakes, other desserts, deli platter and boxed lunches with a choice of an assortment of sandwiches/wraps.
