Priority Registration

Veterans and military members may be eligible for Priority Registration. Students who miss the priority registration date are still able to register after that date.
 
Those eligible for Priority Registration include: active duty, reservists, and National Guard members. Veterans who have received an honorable discharge or a certificate of satisfactory completion of military service within 15 years after the last active duty date.
 
To participate in Priority Registration students must provide documentation of their service. Active duty, Reservists, and National Guard students may provide a copy of their military ID or a copy of their current orders. Veterans may provide a copy of their DD214 showing an honorable discharge or a certificate of satisfactory completion.

Getting Started

All new students are required to set up an intake appointment with a staff member from FCC Veteran and Military Services.  At this appointment, you will have an opportunity to discuss academic programs and the admission process at FCC, available veteran and military benefits, payment options, and College and community resources, including financial aid advising, services available to students with disabilities, career counseling, and mental health counseling.

All new students are required to submit the electronic VMS intake form prior to scheduling an appointment. Once you submit the intake form, we will email you a checklist of “next steps” to complete along with the link to schedule an intake appointment with a VMS staff member.

Continuing and returning students may schedule an academic advising appointment.
