Student Lounges
There are several informal spaces on campus where students gather, but FCC also offers a variety of designated student lounges. The largest lounge is found on the first floor of the Student Center. It houses two billiards tables, five flat screen televisions, as well as computer stations for student use. Both first and second floors of Catoctin Hall houses lounges with seating areas and computer stations.

Study/quiet lounges can be found on the second floors of Braddock Hall and the Student Center. Students needing rooms for study groups may contact the Center for Student Engagement in H101 to make reservations.

Seating areas for student use can be found in the art gallery of the Visual and Performing Arts building, the lobby of the Conference Center, the atrium of Linganore Hall, the atrium of Annapolis Hall, the first floor of Braddock Hall, and the first and second floors of the Student Center.

Lactation Rooms
To support a welcoming environment for all members of our campus community, we have designated rooms across campus to serve as “Lactation Friendly" spaces.

Lactation rooms, located in H221 in the Student Center, and in L227A in Linganore Hall, provide private space where lactating mothers are welcome to pump or nurse. These rooms are equipped with a comfortable chair, a small table and an electrical outlet, and can be reserved by contacting Kristi Mills in the Center for Student Engagement at 301.846.2488 or by email.
Reserving Student Spaces
Students interested in reserving space in the Student Center for club and organization meetings, class study sessions, or meetings are invited to contact the Center for Student Engagement in H101 or call 301.624.2793.
