About Our Department


Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) offers affordable and convenient adult education, workforce training and lifelong learning opportunities for students of all ages. Flexible learning options provide classroom as well as online learning to best fit busy lifestyles, and many credentials earned through CEWD courses can be transitioned to academic credits.

1,000+ CEWD Classes Offered in 2022

CEWD offers the community a variety of programs for all ages, from summertime Youth Programs (ages6-15) to our popular Institute for Learning in Retirement (ages 55+). Adults can also obtain their GED or improve upon their English language skills in Adult Education/ESL or begin a new career in as little as 6 months with our Short-Term Career Training programs. State of the Art Training Labs

Workforce Training programs provide hands-on learning in fully equipped modern training labs. Students will acquire valuable skills practicing on the latest equipment and machinery and be prepared to join the workforce immediately upon program completion.
