Apply for the 11th Annual Business Plan Contest

FCC students are invited to apply for the 11th Annual Business Plan Contest, which provides the chance to win scholarship money from M&T Bank.

During the contest, three finalists present a business plan to a panel of judges in a format similar to the popular TV show “Shark Tank.” Judges then select the first, second, and third place winners, who receive scholarships in the amount of $2,500, $1,500, or $1,000, respectively. Scholarship prizes may be used at FCC or a transfer college.

All currently enrolled credit and non-credit FCC students are invited to develop a business plan and apply for the contest. The timeline for the contest is below.

1. Submit an Intention to Compete Application by Friday, March 8, 2024, 11:59PM EST.
2. Submit a Final Written Business Plan by Friday, April 12, 2024, 11:59PM EST.
3. The Top Three Finalists will be notified via email by Friday, April 19, 2024.
4. Finalist Presentations will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 1:00 PM - 2:30PM in the FCC Conference Center (E126).
