FCC Holding Fair for Students Interested in Transferring to a 4-year Institution
Frederick Community College will hold its Fall Transfer Day Fair on Thursday, October 6, when students interested in transferring will have the chance to speak with representatives from more than 60 colleges and universities.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the FCC Athletics Center. Students who attend will have the opportunity to:
- Identify transfer options based on academic interests
- Learn about transfer programs at different colleges and universities
- Receive financial aid information to facilitate the transfer process
- Learn about application deadlines, credits needed for transfer, GPA requirements, and other important information
The event is free to attend and no registration is required.
Students interested in transferring to a four-year college or university after their time at FCC are also encouraged to attend one of the “Transfer Tuesday on Zoom” events which occur weekly from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. “Transfer Tuesday on Zoom” helps students gain the tips and tools they need to smoothly navigate the transfer process.
