The media is invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration on Wednesday, March 1 for the reopening of Frederick Community College’s Linganore Hall and tour state-of-the-art interactive healthcare teaching labs, as well as innovative online learning, advising, and testing spaces.

The event will feature remarks by Dr. Annesa Payne Cheek, FCC President, and will be attended by local elected officials and other project supporters.

FCC faculty and staff will share information about the unique spaces as tour groups rotate throughout both floors of the newly renovated building.

Video and photo opportunities will include the ribbon cutting ceremony, remarks from College leadership, tours of hands-on healthcare instructional labs that mimic real-life clinical settings, including the Simulation Center with high-fidelity manikins, acute care lab, surgery suite, exercise and rehab lab, and more.
