We are excited to announce that several of Frederick Community College’s Public Safety Programs within the Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management & Public Safety (MACEM&PS) have received accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Education (CAEMHSE).
The CAEMHSE accreditation process is rigorous and involves a comprehensive review of a program's resources and institutional support, curriculum, and student learning outcomes. We are proud to have met their high standards and join the ranks of other leading institutions in this field.
FCC programs receiving this accreditation include the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Public Safety: Area of Concentration in Emergency Management and Area of Concentration in National Security & Intelligence.
Accreditation of these associate degree programs in emergency management and homeland security is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality education and training for future emergency management professionals. Students in these programs receive an education that meets the latest industry standards and are well-prepared for successful careers in public safety and emergency management.
We are grateful to CAEMHSE for this recognition and would like to thank our dedicated faculty and staff for their commitment to excellence.
