This is a Continuing Education & Workforce Development (CEWD) program. Most CEWD programs do not require an application, and students may register online. Explore all available options and register today at frederick.edu/QuickEnroll. Select courses may require the completion of a placement test or a pre-requisite course prior to registering. This is a Continuing Education & Workforce Development program. While CEWD courses do not provide academic credits, participants experience affordable, flexible, and rewarding programs, with select courses offering industry recognized training for licensure and career certification at the state and national level. Dedicated instructors provide expert education and side-by-side training with veterinary teams. Upon successful completion, students receive a  Certificate of Completion, indicating they have the training required to work as a veterinary assistant. 

Frederick County Public School students are eligible to receive free tuition and fees through Dual Enrollment at FCC for some courses taken during Fall or Spring semesters. FCPS students participating in dual enrollment may obtain required textbooks and materials at the FCC bookstore at no cost to the student. Students should speak with their high school counselor first if they plan to enroll in FCC courses or programs.
