Frederick Community College (FCC) recognized graduates from its Health Science programs today during the Spring 2025 Pinning Ceremony, a celebration of the next wave of professionals in respiratory care, surgical technology, and physical therapy assistants.
Held on campus and attended by faculty and loved ones, the event served as both a culmination and a calling—recognizing students’ academic achievement while affirming their readiness to serve on the front lines of care.
FCC President Dr. Annesa Payne Cheek addressed the graduates with heartfelt remarks. “You’ve chosen a career path that not only heals, but lifts up our communities,” said Dr. Cheek. “Whether you’re providing care in a hospital, a home, or anywhere in between, the compassion you show has the power to change lives.”
Graduates from FCC’s Health Science programs will go on to serve in regional hospitals, specialty clinics, and surgical centers. These programs are designed with strong academic support, state-of-the-art facilities, and clinical partnerships that prepare students for immediate success.
