Internships
Internships help students integrate what is taught in school with what is required in the workplace. Students take internships to develop knowledge and skills valued by employers. At FCC, students in certain programs are eligible to receive credit for internships.
Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is an earn and learn model that is industry driven and aligned with high quality career fields. Apprenticeships allow employers to develop and prepare their future workforce through paid work experiences combined with classroom instruction.
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
The evaluation of college-level or experience-based learning that an individual has achieved outside of traditional classroom environment that can be used to demonstrate college-level learning for academic credit awards.
