Learning Centers and Tutoring Services

Because of COVID-19, physical access to the Learning Centers is temporarily unavailable. FCC fall classes will be delivered primarily online to maintain public safety. Face to face instruction and student interactions will only be conducted when it is necessary, required, and feasible to do so in a safe environment. Classes will be offered in online, structured remote, and hybrid learning formats.

Comprehensive student resources remain available remotely to deliver College services to students.
Students and employees should monitor their College email and the FCC COVID-19 webpage.  If you have questions, email assist@frederick.edu or call 301.846.2469.

The Tutoring & Writing Center and STEM Learning Center are dynamic spaces staffed by trained learning assistants whose mission is to support current students in developing the foundational skills and knowledge needed to successfully achieve their academic goals. Services include online tutoring, academic coaching and study skills advice, success workshops, and technology access and assistance.

Because of COVID-19, the physical Learning Centers are closed. We can still help you online:
