FCC and Stevenson University Online are announcing a new agreement


Frederick Community College (FCC) and Stevenson University Online are announcing a new agreement to provide FCC graduates a tuition reduction for undergraduate programs taken through Stevenson University Online.

Stevenson University Online provides career-focused bachelor’s programs in convenient sessions and formats to meet the needs of working adults. Engaged faculty and staff deliver one-on-one attention that embodies the Stevenson University Online commitment to student success.

“FCC is committed to providing our students with as many opportunities as possible during and after their time at our College,” FCC President Elizabeth Burmaster said. “We are proud to partner with Stevenson University Online to offer our graduates the chance to further their education at a discounted rate and through a flexible format that makes it possible to reach their goals.”

Under the memorandum of understanding, FCC graduates will receive 20 percent off tuition for all undergraduate programs offered by Stevenson University Online. This includes nursing, business administration, business communication, criminal justice, cybersecurity and digital forensics, interdisciplinary studies, legal studies, and professional studies.

“Our partnership with Frederick Community College offers students preferred-tuition pricing to help them earn their undergraduate degrees more affordably,” Stevenson University Online Dean Dr. Anne Davis said. “Stevenson University Online is proud to collaborate with Frederick Community College on a shared mission of providing students convenient educational opportunities that enable individuals to advance in their academic, personal, and professional pursuits.”

This agreement is one of many articulation agreements that FCC has with nearby universities and colleges to ensure FCC students can transfer to four-year programs as seamlessly as possible. FCC currently has articulation agreements for many programs held through Stevenson University face-to-face offerings, including human services, nursing, biology, criminal justice, cybersecurity-digital forensics, graphic design, legal studies, and psychology.

The reduced rate applies to tuition for Stevenson University Online bachelor’s degree programs. It does not apply to fees, supplies, books, or other costs associated with attendance.
