Through partnership and service, Student Success Programs strives to be the heart of supportive resources that foster student representation, retention, and achievement of academic, personal, and professional goals.
To be the national standard for providing impactful and intentional services that empower students to navigate their pathway toward success.
We create spaces where students are empowered to be their best selves through support, knowledge of campus resources, and strategies for self-advocacy.
We meet the needs of students by providing holistic support through individualized coaching, skill development, and learning opportunities.
We foster collaborative relationships with students and resources within the campus and the greater community to build connections and effective support networks.
We acknowledge and celebrate students’ efforts and achievements.
We focus on providing equitable and personalized student support services to increase access and opportunities for all students.
Student Success Programs will serve as a hub of support and connection to resources for the following student populations:
- Non-traditional students: students who are parents or caregivers, over 24, or have been away from school for more than 3 years.
- Students from underrepresented populations: students who are first-generation, Black, LatinX, LGBTQIA+, or international students.
- Students facing barriers or challenges to their success: students who are academically at-risk, limited income (PELL eligible), or facing basic needs and/or transportation insecurity.
