FCC fall classes will be delivered primarily online to maintain public safety. Face to face instruction and student interactions will only be conducted when it is necessary, required, and feasible to do so in a safe environment. Classes will be offered in online, structured remote, and hybrid learning formats. Comprehensive student resources remain available remotely to deliver College services to students.

Free Internet Access For any students who do not currently have internet access, Comcast (Xfinity) is providing free internet access to the community through hotspots. You can visit Comcast (Xfinity) is also offering a service called Internet Essentials, a low-cost internet service to those who qualify. Visit for further information.

Programs & Course Schedules FCC offers more than 85 degree and certificate programs through credit and Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD). The latest course schedules will be updated as information becomes available. Students should remain aware of the possibility that course availability and delivery method may be impacted by the global pandemic.

Bookstore The Bookstore is offering online ordering. Shipping fees will be waived while campus is closed. Our spring semester book buyback is being conducted entirely online. Please check our website for updates and details.
Dining Services - Meal Cards All current FCC Meal Cards have been made valid through June 30, 2021. This includes all FCC Dining Services Meal Cards valid at the Cougar Grille and Smooth Joe’s. Contact with any questions.

Food Pantry If you rely on services at the College to eat, please see below for options in the community while the FCC food pantry is inaccessible.     
Mental and Physical Health and Wellness Here are resources to help with the unique challenges we face during the COVID-19 pandemic: 2-1-1 is a quick and easy way to find information and get referrals for thousands of programs and services across Maryland. Resources include food, housing and shelter, utility assistance, mental health, substance use, healthcare, children and families, aging and disabilities, legal and tax services, veterans, domestic/family violence, and employment. Essential Personnel Child Care The YMCA of Frederick County has been approved for Essential Personnel Child Care and Essential Personnel School-Age programs.
