05/16/2024
Frederick Community College (FCC) will hold its 66th Commencement in celebration of the Class of 2024 on Thursday, May 16. For the first time ever, the ceremony will be held in the Knott Arena at Mount St. Mary’s University instead of the FCC Athletics Center. The new venue will allow for a larger number of friends, family, and graduates to celebrate together in one space.

“At FCC, we believe that under the right conditions, every student can learn, and it is our job to create the right conditions,” said President Annesa Payne Cheek. “Commencement is a celebration of the successful learning journey of our students, marking academic achievement and completion toward them becoming equitable participants in our economy, our society, and our democracy.”
