Program Information
FCC offers two online accounting classes designed to build practical, job-ready financial skills from the ground up.
Accounting Fundamentals (ONL223)
Introduces core accounting concepts including double-entry bookkeeping, financial transaction analysis, accounts receivable and payable, payroll procedures, sales taxes, and common banking activities. The class covers the full accounting cycle from writing checks to preparing income statements and closing out accounts at the end of each fiscal period.
Accounting Fundamentals II (ONL224)
Builds on that foundation with a focus on corporate accounting practices. Topics include special journals, uncollectible accounts receivable, plant assets and depreciation, notes and interest, accrued revenue and expenses, dividends, retained earnings, and corporate financial reporting.
Both classes are offered fully online through an ed2go partnership, with multiple start dates available throughout the year and flexible 24/7 access to course materials.
FCC Completion Awards
Earn an FCC Completion Award for each course completed, recognizing your growing skills and commitment to the field. These certificates document your training and can be added to your resume and professional profile to demonstrate your accounting knowledge to current and prospective employers.
