FCC Completion Awards
Receive an FCC Completion Award for each course completed, recognizing your growing skills and commitment to the field.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Upon successful program completion of this five-course series, you are eligible to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam available through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Earning this certification demonstrates to employers that you have met a nationally recognized standard of clinical and administrative competency. From there, many CCMAs go on to pursue advanced roles in healthcare, including licensed practical nursing, medical office administration, and other allied health specializations.
FCC Workforce Training Certificate
Earning a Workforce Training Certificate (WTC) demonstrates your acquired knowledge, proven skills, and recognized capabilities in the field, preparing you for direct entry into the industry. Review the certificate information below and the eligibility requirements to get started.
Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) Workforce Training Certificate
Upon successful completion of this 5-course sequence, you are eligible to receive an FCC Workforce Training Certificate credential that documents your clinical and administrative skills and prepares you for direct entry into patient care environments. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will perform hands-on clinical tasks and essential administrative duties, from taking vital signs to scheduling appointments, while supporting providers and delivering compassionate care.

Eligibility Requirements
- Participants are required to successfully complete the course series identified as a Workforce Training Certificate program, as approved by the College.
- Students may request approval to transfer up to 25% of total Certificate contact hours of prior learning from an accredited institution for select Workforce Training Certificates.
- Please note, course substitutions are not permitted and completion is based upon competency.
Important Information
- Certificates are awarded monthly following course completion, rather than at the end of a traditional semester.
- These programs consist of Workforce Training (non-credit) courses with fee structures subject to change.
- Courses are not eligible for federal financial aid.
The CMA program culminates in CAH283 Clinical Medical Assistant Externship, a hands-on clinical externship that places you in a real healthcare setting to apply the skills you gained throughout the program. Under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals, you can perform clinical and administrative duties in a physician's office, medical clinic, or an outpatient facility. Clinical Medical Assistants
