High School Programs

Open to Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) high school juniors and seniors, Biotechnology Career Programs offer hands-on training and real-world experiences to students interested in pursuing a biotechnology career.

2026 Biotechnology Summer Camp

Monday - Friday, June 22 - 26, 2026 • 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. FREE

FCPS students graduating in spring 2026 and rising seniors are invited to participate in this introduction to the local biotech industry. Learn basic lab skills and discover new career opportunities as you explore the world of biotechnology.

Dual Enrollment for FCPS Students

Earn your high school diploma and college credits simultaneously. 

Get a head start on your college education through the Dual Enrollment program. FCPS students can start taking college classes at FCC towards earning a biotechnology degree while still in high school. Frederick County Public School students may receive free tuition through Dual Enrollment.
