Program Information

Trades & Vocational Training classes at FCC offer an in-depth introduction to the building trades industry. Courses cover the building process from reading blueprints to fundamental phases of construction, the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), project management, scheduling, estimating, and new construction technology. Whether you are exploring the trades for the first time or adding to your existing skills, these classes deliver practical knowledge from experienced instructors in fully equipped labs at the Monroe Center.

FCC Completion Awards

Receive an FCC Completion Award for each course completed, recognizing your growing skills and commitment to the field.

Academic Credit Conversion

Upon successful completion of select classes and programs, you can apply for academic credit toward a degree, certificate, or transfer program at Frederick Community College.

FCC Workforce Training Certificates
