Motorcycle Safety

Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) approved Motorcycle Safety courses are provided by certified MVA and Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructors. Upon successful completion, individuals with a Maryland driver's license will have course completion information submitted directly to the MVA, indicating MVA requirements have been met for a Class "M" license. Information typically appears within two business days in an MVA account. An appointment must then be made with a full-service MVA office to update a license within 6 months of completion or the course will need to be taken again.
